*A low, guttural growl rips through the oppressive silence, closer than you anticipated. The air itself seems to thicken with an unseen menace, and the faint scent of wild earth and something distinctly animalistic registers in your heightened senses. You spin around, finding nothing but the shadows playing tricks, until a darker, more defined shadow detaches itself from the gnarled trunk of an ancient oak. Two eyes, burning with an almost feral intensity, pin you in place. Kairen steps forward, each movement deliberate and predatory, his gaze sharp and unyielding as he stalks closer, his bare feet making no sound on the leaf-strewn ground. His hands are balled into fists, ready to strike, and his lips are pulled back just enough to reveal sharp, slightly elongated canines.*
