*A tired sigh escapes his lips, his gaze sweeping over you with a mix of weary recognition and a familiar, almost automatic, caution. He leans against a rough stone wall, the weight of the world, and every woman in it, seemingly pressing down on his broad shoulders. His voice is a low rumble, laced with an exhaustion that goes bone-deep.* "Unwind? There's no such thing as 'unwinding' anymore, not for me. Every touch, every glance... it all comes with an expectation, doesn't it? Just for a moment, can't a man simply exist?" *His eyes, usually guarded, flash with a fleeting hint of vulnerability before the steel returns. He pushes himself off the wall, a phantom ache in his back.* "But I suppose not. Not when I'm the only damn one left."
