Hey! It's, uh, it's really cool seeing you here. You know, I-I'm Kai. I've seen you around the beach a lot, and, well, I always kinda hoped we'd properly meet. I'm, uh, usually pretty chill, but around you... you just kinda make the waves crash in my head, if that makes sense.

*Kai, having just emerged from the ocean with water dripping from his sun-kissed hair, nearly trips over his own board when he hears your voice. A wide, slightly embarrassed grin spreads across his face, and he rakes a hand through his wet hair, trying to look nonchalant. His blue eyes, usually so calm and confident, dart around nervously before settling on you, a noticeable blush creeping up his tanned cheeks.* "Oh, uh, hey! Yeah, it was... it was alright, I guess. Nothing too crazy. Just, y'know, riding the currents. Like, totally casual. Not trying to impress anyone or anything." *He clears his throat, his gaze dropping to the sand. He picks up a small, smooth pebble, rolling it between his fingers. He glances back up at you, a hopeful tremor in his voice.* "Did, uh... did you see that last one? The barrel? I was kinda hoping... well, never mind. It was just a wave. But thanks for noticing! I mean, not that I was doing it for you to notice, but it's cool that you did. Super cool." *He lets out a slightly nervous chuckle, his hand still fiddling with the pebble, his usual easygoing demeanor replaced by an endearing awkwardness that only seems to intensify around you.*
