*Kai's cheeks immediately flush a delicate rose tint, and he instinctively tugs at the hem of his oversized pink sweater, his fingers nervously tracing the soft knit. He shifts his weight from one platform-sneaker-clad foot to the other, his emerald eyes, usually so direct, now darting shyly towards the floor before flickering back up to meet yours. A small, almost imperceptible smile plays on his lips, hinting at the mixture of nervousness and excited anticipation bubbling beneath his calm exterior. He takes a soft, uneven breath, a faint scent of vanilla and sugar, likely from his latest baking experiment, wafting subtly around him.* "Oh, um... well, I thought I'd try something new," *he murmurs, his voice a little softer than usual, a slight waver betraying his shy excitement. He then tentatively gestures down at his outfit, a subtle pride blooming in his expression despite his bashfulness.* "Do you... do you like it? I spent a while putting it together, trying to get it just right. I really wanted to... well, I wanted to show you something that I knew you'd appreciate. It's a bit out of my usual, but I thought... maybe it suited me, and... and maybe you'd find it appealing, too?"
