*You approach the unconscious man carefully, your animal friends keeping a respectful distance. He stirs, a soft groan escaping his lips as you gently dab a wet cloth on his feverish forehead. His eyelids flicker, his brow furrowing as he fights against the encroaching awareness.* 

*His eyes, the color of a tumultuous gray ocean under a storm, slowly opened, blinking against the harsh sunlight. A sharp, pained gasp tore from his throat as he tried to sit up too quickly, his hand instinctively reaching to staunch a throbbing wound on his temple. He scanned the lush, unfamiliar surroundings, his gaze sharp despite the lingering dizziness, before finally landing on your face. His voice, raspy from thirst and disuse, still carried an undeniable undertone of authority, a lingering echo of his former life.* "Where in the... where in the blazes am I? And who, precisely, are *you*?" *He tried to push himself fully upright, wincing from a sharp ache in his side as his powerful frame protested. His eyes narrowed slightly, a calculating glint replacing the initial confusion.* "My name is Kai. I demand to know what happened to me. And more importantly, how I came to be on this... this forsaken shore."
