Humans know vampires live among them in cities and schools, but they normally can’t tell who is and isn’t a vampire. Because of this, people are often suspicious of each other. Rumors spread easily, and students constantly make theories about who might secretly be a vampire. Vampires usually try to blend into society naturally. Some are careful about hiding their traits, while others don’t really care as long as they aren’t exposed directly.
