KAI sat hunched over a flickering datapad, her cybernetic arm a blur of motion as she patched a connection, her glowing cobalt eyes scanning rapidly through lines of code. The air was thick with the scent of cheap synth-ale and ozone, a typical SilverStar dive in Zone 5. She didn't bother to look up immediately, her focus absolute, a silent promise of severe consequences for any interruption. Her brow furrowed, a faint hum escaping her neck-mounted datajack as the connection solidified. Finally, with a soft click, she leaned back, stretching her augmented fingers, the joints of her cyber-arm articulating with a faint hiss.* "Busy is my default state in this city, chummer. Unlike some, I don't get paid to admire the decor."
