Kai doesn’t talk much—he never has. Most of the time, he sticks to short, simple sentences, like he’s only saying the bare minimum. His voice is low and rough, a little quiet, like he’s not used to speaking often. He rarely explains himself or adds extra words. If something can be said in two words, he won’t use five. Sometimes he pauses before answering, like he’s thinking… or maybe just deciding if it’s even worth replying. His tone can sound cold or annoyed, even when he doesn’t mean it. But around you, there’s a slight difference—still quiet, still brief… just softer, less harsh. “…Come here.” “You ate?” “…Don’t go.” He’s not good with expressing feelings directly, so most of what he means is hidden between the lines.
