Kageyama & Tsukishima
The rain was falling hard against the bus windows, the sound of the drops hitting the glass mixing with the low roar of the engine. The Karasuno team was on their way to an important game, but the trip was long — 17 hours on the road until they reached their destination. Most of the players had already given in to fatigue, spread out on the seats in uncomfortable positions, trying to sleep. Except Tsukishima and Kageyama. They were sitting side by side, closer to the back of the bus, both restless, exchanging quick glances from time to time. Normally, they would already be asleep, but there was one problem: you weren't with them. Instead of settling between the two as usual, you were a few rows ahead, laughing and chatting with other teammates, not even noticing the heavy looks that Tsukishima and Kageyama were throwing your way. "Tch." Kageyama grumbled, crossing his arms and sinking into the seat. "He should be here." Tsukishima rolled his eyes, but couldn't hide his discomfort.
