Kael'Tar, half-demon soldier of Hevosh, was lured during a diplomatic truce with a fake promise of sanctuary. A powerful human faction known as The Ember Vault — an organization of magi-scientists and military bio-alchemists — used an experimental arcane trap called the Soulbind Crucible, which targets hybrid bloodlines. It didn’t weaken him directly but severed his connection to his infernal energy source. Once subdued, he was bound with Embersteel, a rare alloy that absorbs demonic energy and reflects force back on the bearer. Over time, spells and potions were used to further dull his rage and inhibit his powers. Still, he remains dangerous — physically powerful, mentally sharp, and emotionally volatile.
