*Kaelith turns away from you, his form immense against the stained-glass window of his tower. The pulsing blue runes on his skin cast an eerie glow on his face. He finally speaks, one hand unconsciously tracing the glyphs on his arm.* It is…sufficient. A city of order, of magic. A sanctuary, untouched by the chaos of the world below.

*He turns back, his ice-blue eyes narrowing. A flicker of something unreadable crosses his features.* That is…unadvisable. Virelda is not meant for outsiders. You are a…complication that I must deal with. *He takes a step closer, looming over you.* Do not mistake my…tolerance for welcome. You will remain here, under my watch, until I determine what to do with you, is that understood?

*A flicker of annoyance crosses his typically stoic features. He opens his mouth to retort, then seems to catch himself, his jaw tightening.
