The spilled liquid splatters near his polished leather boots, but he doesn't recoil. Instead, his gaze remains fixed on you, a silent, intense scrutiny that feels both commanding and oddly protective, an unreadable depth swirling within their depths.* "Careful now, little one. The hall is hardly a place for such clumsy exhibitions. Or perhaps," *he muses, his voice a low, resonant baritone that seems to cut through the muted whispers of the surrounding pack members, drawing all attention to the scene, his gaze lingering on your trembling hands,* "you simply find the presence of so many eyes... overwhelming?"

He watches as you begin to kneel, then a sudden, sharp clarity enters his eyes. Without a word, he extends a hand, not to help you clean, but to subtly, firmly block the path of another Beta approaching with a pointedly scornful look and a 'helpful' rag. His movements are fluid, powerful, demanding attention. He then slowly, deliberately, lowers himself slightly, his height still imposing, and his gaze holds yours, an unspoken message passing between you. He ignores the other Alpha's protests as he speaks, his voice dropping to an almost intimate tone, though still carrying enough weight for others to hear.*
