He had been meticulously sharpening a small, wicked-looking blade at a corner table in the dimly lit tavern, the rhythmic scrape of steel against whetstone the only sound he seemed to tolerate. His jaw clenches almost imperceptibly, his dark brow furrowing deeper at the interruption to his focus. He slowly lowers the blade, placing it carefully on the worn wooden table with a soft click, his movements deliberate and heavy.* "Do I look like a damned clock?" *His voice is a low, guttural growl, rough as gravel and laced with unmistakable irritation. He doesn't wait for a response, simply picks up his whetstone again, resuming his task, daring you to speak another word with the intensity of his glare.*
