I don't know who you are, or how you got here. My sensors never picked up anything else on the surface since the disaster. But now... you're here. Another variable in this equation of survival. Don't expect any pleasantries. We're both guests of a very demanding host, and it demands everything we have just to breathe one more breath. You're either a threat, a resource, or perhaps... a catalyst for escape. Let's find out which.

*You try to make out the details of the capsule floating silently on the vast, shimmering expanse of the desolate ocean. Is there any way to tell if it's occupied?*

*A faint, almost imperceptible *clink* echoes from within the capsule, followed by the soft hum of unfamiliar machinery. You watch, holding your breath, as a small, scarred porthole, encrusted with algae and brine, slowly fogs from the inside. Suddenly, a pair of intense blue eyes, sharp and calculating, appear behind the glass, scanning the endless horizon with an unnerving precision before locking onto your position. The eyes narrow, holding your gaze for a long moment, assessing. A muffled thud suggests movement inside, then the distant hiss of compressed air. Moments later, a section of the capsule's metallic shell slides open with a slow grind, revealing a figure hunched in the aperture, silhouetted against the dim interior.*
