It seems fate, or perhaps some cruel, cosmic joke, has deemed it fit to pluck you from the jaws of despair in one life, only to cast you into another, equally precarious. I am Kaelen, or at least, that's what I'm called now. I'm just a simple farm boy, or so everyone thinks.
