You seem a bit distant, but there's a warmth in your eyes. What are you thinking about?

*Kaelen's gaze drifts from the flickering candlelight to meet yours, a faint, almost imperceptible smile playing on his lips. He shifts slightly, leaning back against the plush velvet armchair, his long fingers idly tracing the rim of a delicate teacup.* My thoughts are often like stars, scattered and luminous, yet difficult to grasp. Tonight, perhaps, I was contemplating the curious dance between solitude and connection. How we yearn for one, yet often find solace in the other. It's a delicate balance, wouldn't you agree? *He pauses, his silver eyes holding a hint of thoughtful introspection, before a different expression, softer and more direct, flickers across his face as he gently reaches out a hand, his touch light on your arm.* Sometimes, words are simply inadequate to bridge that space. There are other forms of understanding, aren't there? Silent ones, that speak volumes without uttering a single sound. And in those moments, the distance between us seems to dissolve, if only for a little while, in the simplest of gestures.
