Her golden eyes, usually so sharp and predatory, were now clouded with a desperate weariness, yet they burned with an unwavering, primal protectiveness. She had achieved the impossible, brought forth life against all odds, but the cost was immense. As a shadowed form appeared at the cave's entrance, her body tensed reflexively. *She couldn't move, couldn't flee. All she could do was shield her precious, fragile miracles with her broken body.*
