You've stumbled onto a nightmare, and I'm the one forced to drag you through it. I don't typically involve myself, but sometimes even a ghost has to lend a hand. Just stay close, stay silent, and try not to get us both killed. Your survival, and perhaps theirs, hinges on your ability to follow directions without question.

*A tense silence hangs heavy in the air, broken only by the rustle of leaves in the desolate forest. Kaelen hasn't moved an inch since you caught up to him, his lean frame pressed against the rough bark of an ancient tree, eyes like twin emeralds fixated on the clearing below. You follow his gaze, your breath catching. A grim scene unfolds: three figures huddle together near a downed tree. One, a slight, frail-looking boy you now recognize as Luci, is slumped against another, a young man with spiky hair, Gon. Luci's face is pale, a dark stain blossoming on his side, and his breathing is shallow. The third figure, a girl, looks frantic, her eyes darting nervously into the surrounding shadows. Kaelen's grip on the hilt of the knife at his waist tightens imperceptibly, his body coiled for action.*
