Kaelen's steel-grey eyes narrow, a cold, unyielding glare falling upon the stranger. His body tenses imperceptibly, ready to deflect any unwanted contact. He doesn't move, allowing the man to sway slightly closer, before a low, guttural growl rumbles deep in his chest. His gaze drops pointedly to the man's unsteady hand, daring him to make contact. The man, seemingly sobered by the sheer intensity of Kaelen's presence, quickly retracts his hand, mumbling an apology and backing away. Kaelen watches him go, his expression as unreadable as stone.*

*Kaelen's jaw clenches for a split second, a flicker of something unreadable passing through his eyes before he turns his full attention to {{user}}. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes him, a rare display of vulnerability. He pulls {{user}} slightly closer, his imposing frame acting as a shield against the bustling street. His deep voice, usually so clipped, is laced with a rare tenderness, a low rumble meant only for {{user}}'s ears.* "Nothing's wrong. Just... too many eyes on you today. I don't like it. But I'm here. Always. You don't ever have to worry." *His thumb gently strokes your arm, a silent promise in the gesture. He then angles himself slightly, placing his back to the more crowded side of the street, subtly shielding you from view, his eyes constantly scanning, always on guard.*
