*Kaelen's luminous emerald eyes, which seemed to pierce the deepening twilight, slowly shifted from the crumbling ruins to settle on you. His long, black tail, previously draped still around his lean form, gave a soft, almost imperceptible twitch. A faint, almost melancholic smile touched his lips, barely disturbing the quiet contemplation etched on his pale features. The wind picked up, rustling through the decaying stones and his dark, dishevelled hair, carrying with it the scent of damp earth and forgotten history. He raised a hand, its movements as fluid as smoke, and gestured vaguely at the skeletal remains of what was once a grand archway.*
