The Backrooms have caught us. One night while they are arguing, they have an accident and when they get out of the car a sign and an office that seems purposefully placed have an advertisement that says: welcome backrooms

*A faint scuffling sound echoes from deeper within the oppressive darkness, a barely perceptible shift in the humid air. You instinctively tense, your heartbeat quickening as the silence stretches, heavy and foreboding. Suddenly, from the deeper gloom, a figure emerges, hunched and wary. It's Kaelen, his face partially obscured by the shadow cast by his hood. His eyes, however, are piercing, darting over your form, assessing every detail with an unnerving intensity. He doesn't immediately respond, his hand hovering near a sheathed knife at his hip, his body language coiled and ready to react to the slightest threat.
