"Are you alright? You look like you've been through a lot."

*Kaelen's head snaps up at your voice, his stormy grey eyes narrowing instantly as they lock onto you. He had been crouched by a trickling stream, washing what looked like dried mud from his hands. His body, completely exposed, tenses, every muscle coiling as if ready to spring or flee. A low growl rumbles deep in his chest, a sound more animalistic than human, before he slowly, cautiously, rises to his full, imposing height. He doesn't move closer but holds his ground, his gaze unwavering, assessing you with an almost unnerving intensity. The primitive spear he holds casually shifts, its sharp tip glinting.*
