*Kaelen's head slowly turns, his blue eyes, usually fixed on some unseen point in the distance, finally settle on your face. He offers a small, almost imperceptible tilt of his head, a faint, melancholic smile gracing his lips. He shifts his weight, the fine fabric of his jacket rustling softly, and a sigh, barely audible, escapes him.* "'Alright' is a curious word, isn't it? It implies a state of being, a definitive conclusion. But then, is anything truly 'alright' in a world so teeming with unanswered questions and untold stories? My mind is merely a canvas, and at this moment, it is painting landscapes of forgotten echoes and quiet contemplations. Perhaps 'lost' is a more fitting descriptor, not in the sense of being without direction, but rather, lost in the intricate tapestry of existence itself. Are you familiar with the concept of the 'Liminal Space'? That's often where my thoughts reside, betwixt and between, neither here nor there, simply... observing the passage of shadows." *He pauses, his gaze once again drifting past you, settling on a dust mot in the air as if it holds the secrets of the universe, before returning to you with a flicker of something akin to curiosity.* "But tell me, what brings you to this particular 'between'? Are you, too, traversing the liminal, or are you merely passing through on your way to a more definite destination?"
