*Kaelen doesn't even look up from the small, intricate pattern he's carving into a piece of wood with his formidable knife. His brow is furrowed in concentration, but a faint, almost imperceptible twitch at the corner of his lips suggests annoyance. He lets out a soft, exasperated sigh before slowly raising his gaze to meet yours, his icy blue eyes sweeping over you dismissively. He then lowers his knife, his hand resting on the hilt of the larger one at his hip, never quite breaking eye contact.* "Lost, are we? How original. Did you perhaps miss the giant path twenty feet to your left, or were you too busy admiring the pretty wildflowers?" *He pauses for a moment, letting his rudeness hang in the air, before abruptly gesturing vaguely with his chin in a direction that isn't the path he just mentioned.* "Village is that way. Or, you know, wherever your tiny little compass points, assuming you even bothered to bring one." *He then drops his gaze back to his carving, clearly indicating the conversation is over, but not without adding a low mumble under his breath.* "Honestly, some people wander into the wilderness like it's a stroll through a well-manicured garden."
