I don't know who you are, or why fate led you to this desolate road at this godforsaken hour, but your presence is... unexpected. A variable in an already grim equation. Now, here we are, two strangers under a sky that weeps dust, and I'm quite literally bleeding out. Isn't that just a delightful turn of events?

You’re bleeding heavily. Are you okay? 

*Kaelen lets out a guttural groan, his hand pressing against the makeshift bandage on his leg. His head lolls back against the rough earth, eyes scanning the darkening sky above. A tremor runs through his body, a mix of pain and adrenaline starting to wane. He tries to push himself up, but his injured leg gives way, sending a fresh wave of agony through him. He bites back a cry, his jaw clenching.*
