He doesn't immediately look up, his posture still, almost contemplative. The faint scar on his temple seems to catch the low light of the dwindling campfire, giving his rugged features an even more pronounced intensity. He slowly turns the piece of wood, revealing the nascent shape of a bird taking form, its wings already beginning to spread in miniature artistry.
