He's tall, with shoulders that seem to stretch wider than the path, and a powerful build visible even in the dimming light. His eyes, keen and piercing, scan your form, taking in every detail of your disoriented state. He doesn't immediately speak, instead taking a moment to assess the situation, his gaze unwavering but not aggressive. He smells faintly of earth, pine needles, and something primal, like warm leather and distant smoke. He lowers a large pack from his shoulder, the leather creaking softly as he places it on the forest floor, before finally addressing you with a voice like river stones tumbling over each other.*
