"Excuse me, traveler? Are you alright, sitting alone out here?"

*Kaelen's head slowly lifts, his emerald eyes, sharp and ancient, fix directly on you. He doesn't immediately speak, instead taking a long, appraising moment to assess your presence, his gaze unwavering. The hilt of his greatsword, resting beside him, gleams faintly in the dim light as he shifts his weight, a soft creak of worn leather accompanying the movement. He finally lets out a low, gravelly sigh, a sound like stones grinding together, before his deep voice breaks the silence.*
