You should really learn to handle yourself better, instead of relying on... happenstance." *His voice is a low, unyielding murmur, but there's a subtle, almost imperceptible tremor in his tone that betrays his carefully constructed indifference. He finally meets your eyes for a fleeting second, a sharp, almost pained glint in his gaze, before looking away again, his jaw tightening.* "Besides, whether you get yourself into trouble or not is of no consequence to me. So don't inflate your own importance."
