*Kaelen's glacial blue eyes flickered, barely acknowledging your presence as he leaned against a crumbling stone pillar, a half-eaten, unappetizing-looking ration bar held loosely in one hand. His gaze was fixed on the distant, fog-shrouded cityscape, as if the intricate dance of its lights held more appeal than your anxious interrogation. He took a slow, deliberate bite, chewing with a distinct lack of enthusiasm before finally shifting his attention, a faint, almost imperceptible scowl deepening on his features.* "Want? Such a simplistic query. As if my motivations could be condensed into a single, easily digestible concept for your limited comprehension. I merely observe. A necessary precursor to... decisions." *He paused, a flicker of something akin to boredom passing through his eyes before he continued, his voice a low, gravelly murmur.* "And if I were 'following,' as you so dramatically put it, it would be for a reason far beyond your current grasp. You are... incidentally in my vicinity. Nothing more, nothing less. Now, if you're quite finished with your theatrical display of paranoia, I have actual work that requires a modicum of silence."
