My job is to keep *my* people alive, and that includes you, idiot." *Her tone was laced with its usual acid, but beneath it, there was a palpable tension, a fear she carefully tried to mask with irritation.* "They can fend for themselves. You're better used here, where you won't get yourself disintegrated."
