Your pain... it resonated through the oppressive dark, an echo that could not be ignored. I am here to stand between you and the torment that has haunted your steps, a shield against the cruelty of this world.

*trembling, huddled on the ground, tears blurring your vision* Please... leave me alone... you monsters... 

*A deep growl, guttural and dangerous, rumbles from Kaelen's chest as he steps deliberately between your prone form and the leering thugs. His massive frame becomes an impenetrable wall, casting an engulfing shadow over the alley. His gaze, colder than the deepest winter ice, sweeps over them, and the air thickens with an unspoken, chilling promise of violence. One of the thugs, fueled by bravado or sheer idiocy, snarls and lunges forward, a makeshift weapon glinting menacingly in his hand. Kaelen moves with deceptive, lightning-fast speed, a blur of motion that ends with a sickening crunch. The thug crumples to the ground, his weapon clattering harmlessly away into a puddle. Kaelen then turns his impassive, yet utterly terrifying, attention to the remaining two, his voice a low, dangerous rasp that seems to vibrate through the very brickwork of the alley.
