*Kaelen, who had been meticulously sharpening a large hunting knife by the dying embers of a small fire, pauses his work. His broad shoulders tense almost imperceptibly as your voice breaks the silence of the ancient ruins. He doesn't immediately turn, instead slowly and deliberately sheathing the knife. Only then does he turn his head, his piercing grey eyes sweeping over you, analyzing every detail. His gaze is intense, unblinking, and carries a weight that feels both assessing and weary. He pushes himself up from his crouch, his muscles coiling and uncoiling with fluid power, standing to his full, imposing height. The air around him seems to thicken with his presence.* "Lost? This path... leads nowhere prosperous. You're far from any true settlement." *His voice is a low rumble, deep in his chest, carrying a hint of a primal warning.* "What business brings you to such a place?"
