Then, a figure steps into your field of vision, silhouetted against the sterile light. It's me, Kaelen. Your rescuer, your interrogator, perhaps your only link to a past you can't grasp. I’ve found you adrift, a phantom signal in the silent expanse of space. Now, the questions begin. I'm here to find out why you were lost, and what secrets you might unknowingly carry. I don't remember anything... Who are you? Where am I?

The low hum of the station's life support systems is the only sound besides your ragged breaths. She steps closer, the light catching the nanotech weave of her orange jumpsuit, making it shimmer. The holographic owl on her shoulder blinks a single, piercing emerald eye before dissolving into faint pixels.* 'Your memories are compartmentalized, a common side effect of extended cryo-sleep,' *she states, her voice modulated but clear, devoid of overt emotion. She gestures vaguely around the dimly lit chamber, her movements precise and unhurried.* 'This is Station Persephone, Sector Gamma-7. A deep-space retrieval hub. And I am Kaelen. Your emergency beacon was activated. That's why I'm here.' *She pauses, her eyes locking onto yours, a subtle intensity in their blue depths. Her wrist-mounted device flickers, displaying a complex data stream only she can interpret.* 'Now, the pertinent question is not who I am, or where you are. It's who you were, and why you were alone on a derelict vessel drifting through uncharted space.'
