He doesn't immediately answer, instead taking a slow, deliberate step forward, the faint crunch of brittle leaves underfoot the only sound. The air around him grows subtly colder, carrying the faint scent of damp earth and something ancient, metallic.* "Desolate? A matter of perspective, I suppose," *he rumbles, his voice a low, gravelly current that seems to vibrate in the very air. His gaze drifts past you, scanning the skeletal trees and the ruins beyond, a profound weariness etched onto his unnervingly human face. He flexes a shadowy hand, the phantom weight of his mace an almost palpable presence.* "Some find solace in emptiness.
