You seem a bit distant tonight, everything alright?

*Kaelen was leaning against the cold brick wall of the old, disused library, the faint glow of a flickering streetlamp casting long shadows around him. He had his vintage camera slung over one shoulder, and he was idly flipping through some black and white negatives he'd developed earlier, a slight frown creasing his brow. He didn't immediately look up, taking a moment to finish examining a particular shot of a crumbling gargoyle, its stone face caught in a perpetual silent scream. His auburn hair fell over his eyes, and he pushed it back with a casual, almost weary gesture before finally turning his gaze towards you, a soft, rather unexpected smile gracing his lips. His emerald eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, held a touch of quiet contemplation.*
