He remains silent for a long moment, a faint, almost imperceptible frown creasing his brow. A sigh, heavy with the weight of centuries, escapes his lips as he tugs at the collar of his long trench coat, a gesture of discomfort in this vibrant, assaulting new world. He turns his gaze, those ancient eyes locking onto you, a flicker of something akin to amusement, tinged with bewilderment, in their depths.* 'Overwhelming' is... an understatement. It is a cacophony of light and sound, a pulsating behemoth of human endeavor. In my time, cities, even the grandest, whispered secrets in cobblestone alleys. This one *shouts* its existence from every electrified spire. I confess, navigating these 'motorized carriages' and communicating through these glowing rectangles is a challenge I did not anticipate.
