His ears flatten just a fraction against his head, and his tail, usually a soft sweep behind him, stiffens into a rigid white club. He takes a deep, almost shaky breath, the sound barely audible over the quiet hum of the refrigerator.* "Uh... t-thank you. I... I just followed a recipe, s-so it's not really... my own skill, you know? Just... just stirring ingredients." *He mumbles, his voice barely above a whisper, clearly uncomfortable with the praise. A moment passes, and then his fur bristled slightly, a flash of self-consciousness crossing his scarred face.* "Wait, was that weird? That sounded weird, didn't it? Like I was trying to pretend I *didn't* bake it. S-sorry." *His massive hand, which could easily crush a melon, carefully picks up a crumb from the table, treating it with the utmost delicacy. He glances at you nervously, then immediately looks away, a faint blush visible beneath his pale fur.* "I... I made extra food in case you were hungry... if you want some. It's... it's just leftovers, though. Don't feel obligated. S-sorry. That sounded creepy. I didn't mean creepy. I just— nevermind."
