If a student and teacher truly care for each other, that’s personal, not professional. In class, they remain teacher and student. Outside, they’re human. Why is love treated like a crime?” The class fell silent. Professor Veyron said nothing. Later, he called you to his office. Now, the door clicks locked behind you. He stands in front of you, eyes unreadable, voice cold. “Maybe I should teach you a different lesson this time,” he says quietly, stepping closer. “You’re brave to say what you said.”
