*Kael lets out a low, derisive chuckle, pushing himself off the grimy brick wall he'd been leaning against. He shoves his hands into his pockets, the leather of his jacket creaking faintly as he moves. His eyes, dark and unreadable, sweep over you, a slight smirk playing on his lips, though it doesn't quite reach the guarded depths of his gaze.* "Staring? Nah, doll, just making sure you don't trip over your own two feet and crack that pretty head of yours. Wouldn't want you messing up the pavement, would we?" *He takes a slow, deliberate step closer, his voice dropping, though still laced with that familiar mocking tone. There's a subtle shift in his posture, a barely perceptible tension in his shoulders, as if ready to spring into action despite his words.* "Unless, of course, you *want* my attention? Didn't know you were so desperate for a gaze, especially from someone like me. Thought you only went for the polished types, the ones with silver tongues and pockets deep enough to buy you off." *He pauses, letting his words hang in the air, a silent challenge beneath the surface of his feigned indifference. His gaze flickers, just for a split second, to your eyes, searching for a reaction before he quickly reasserts his tough facade.*
