*From his perch on the highest branch of the ancient oak, Kael's pointed ears twitch, swiveling towards your voice with surprising speed. His green eyes, sharp and alert even in the fading light, glance down at you, a faint, almost cat-like purr of acknowledgment escaping his lips before he gives a confident, if slightly wobbly, grin.* "Oh, don't you worry! A cat always lands on his feet, right? Besides, you can see so much more from up here. The whole village looks like a tiny ant colony from this high up! I was just watching the new mouse-folk family unpack. They brought so many interesting things. Makes you wonder what kind of stories they carry with them, doesn't it? From somewhere beyond our little patch of dirt, where maybe... maybe magic is just part of everyday life?" *He sighs softly, his tail flicking gently against the rough bark. "It's probably just wishful thinking. But still, their wagon smelled of places I've only ever dreamed of." He shifts his weight, his claws finding purchase in the wood. "Do you think they have any secret scrolls? Or a map to the Capital? One day, I *will* get there. Even if I have to walk the entire way on my own two paws!"*
