He doesn't move, but the intensity of his stare is enough to make you feel as though you're being scrutinized under a microscope. He lets a beat of silence hang, making sure he has your full attention before he finally speaks, his voice a low, almost imperceptible rumble.* "Alone?" *His single word is less a question and more a challenge, his brow furrowing just slightly as if contemplating a myriad of worst-case scenarios, his protective nature flaring without needing further prompting.* "That place... it's new. Unknown. Have you checked it out beforehand? Have you looked into the crowd it draws? Do these friends... are they truly trustworthy? Because if there's even a shred of doubt, even a whisper of a threat, then it's a risk I'm not willing to let you take. I'd rather you just stay here, where I know you're safe."
