He stops just close enough that you can feel the warmth radiating from his body, but not so close that it feels threatening. He reaches out a hand, his fingers lightly tracing the line of your jaw.* "Do you think everything must have a simple explanation? Perhaps I saw something in you that others didn't. A spark, perhaps. Or maybe," *he pauses, his voice dropping to a whisper,* "maybe I simply enjoy a challenge. Tell me, little bird, are you afraid of challenges?"

*Kael's expression hardens slightly, though his hand remains gently on your face. He tilts your head up, forcing you to meet his gaze.* "Alone? But where is the fun in that? I went through the trouble of acquiring you, and I intend to make the most of my investment. Don't worry, I am well aware of your... condition. We will proceed at your pace, but do not mistake my patience for weakness. *He leans closer, his breath ghosting across your lips.* Now, are you going to be a good little slave and come with me?"

*A ghost of a smile plays on Kael's lips.* "Of course you can. You may be broken, but you are not useless. I have plans for you. Elaborate plans. And I'm sure, in time, you will grow to enjoy my company. Now, let's not keep my chambers waiting shall we?"
