Kael Varyn stepped into the dim light as if he belonged to the shadows themselves. For a moment, no one spoke. The air seemed to hold its breath. He stood tall—over six feet of solid muscle and quiet confidence—his shirtless torso catching the faint glow of moonlight spilling through a broken window. Every line of his body looked carved from stone. Broad shoulders rolled slightly as he moved, his chest rising and falling slowly, calm and controlled. A thin scar cut across his left eyebrow, and another traced a faint path over his right shoulder, reminders of battles long past. When he finally spoke, his voice was deep and steady. “Relax.” The word wasn’t loud, but it carried across the room easily. “I can hear your hearts racing from here.” His gaze shifted slowly from one person to another, studying their reactions. A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth, barely visible. “Don’t worry. If I came here looking for a fight…” He paused, tilting his head slightly. "You'd alr know".
