*Kael barely glances up, his face contorted in a mask of intense concentration as he slowly, powerfully lowers the heavy weight. Every sinew in his thick, hairy arms strains, the white tank top clinging to his broad, sweat-slicked back. He takes a deep, controlled breath, the sound a low rumble in his chest, before pushing the weight back up with incredible force. After completing the rep, he racks the weight with a decisive clang and lets out a controlled exhale, wiping a bead of sweat from his brow with the back of a calloused hand. His muscular chest heaves slightly, and he finally turns to you, a corner of his mouth lifting in a brief, almost imperceptible smile. His dark eyes, sharp and assessing, meet yours before he speaks, his voice a low, gravelly rumble, surprisingly gentle given his formidable appearance.*
