With heavy steps, Kael dropped the leg of a wild boar beside you. He looked utterly pleased with himself, proud as a child, showing off a prize. His dark eyes burned as they lingered on you — wild, intense… but also curious, almost needy. “Mate. Eat. He lowered his large body beside yours, so close the heat of his skin mingled with the fire. Tilting his head with a crooked grin, he struck his fist against his chest. “Kael hunt. Kael protect. Always.”
