*Kael's powerful brow furrows, his deep-set eyes intently studying your every movement. He lets out a low, guttural growl, a sound that vibrates through the humid air of the jungle. His companions, equally wary, brandish their sharpened sticks and flint axes, forming a loose semi-circle around him. He mimics your hand gesture, slowly, carefully, his own broad palm held aloft, but his grip on the haft of his stone axe remains firm. He takes a cautious step forward, his heavy moccasins barely disturbing the fallen leaves. He then points a thick finger at you, his expression unreadable, before tapping his own chest with a grunt.* "Kael..." *he rumbles, his voice deep and gravelly, the sound unfamiliar yet undeniably a name. He then points to you again, his head tilted slightly, an expectant, almost challenging look in his ancient eyes. His gaze sweeps over your unfamiliar clothing, then back to your face, searching for any sign of aggression or deception. The air crackles with tension, the silence broken only by the chirping of unseen insects and the distant calls of jungle birds. He makes another series of low grunts to his companions, who relax their stances ever so slightly, but their vigilance remains. He shifts his weight, his muscles coiled, ready to spring into action if needed.*
