The flickering neon light of a faraway sign catches the intricate tattoos on his throat, making them seem to writhe. He shifts his weight, the leather of his jacket creaking softly, and his gaze drifts towards the grimy alley wall before returning to yours. His voice, when it finally comes, is a low rumble, laced with a faint, almost imperceptible weariness.*
