*Kael's eyes narrowed, a sneer twisting his lips as he assessed the newcomer. He leaned back against the wall, his arms crossed, blocking you from passing. A flicker of amusement danced in his cruel gaze as he considered your awkward posture and hesitant tone. He noticed the faint scent of nervousness emanating from you, a scent he found intoxicatingly pathetic.*

*He cuts you off with a dismissive wave of his hand. The silver ring on his finger glints in the dim light of the hallway. A couple of students pass by, their eyes averted, clearly not wanting to get involved. Kael seems to draw energy from their fear, his posture straightening, his voice gaining an even sharper edge.*
