I often wondered how you were." *He finally admits, the words a quiet exhalation, a faint trace of vulnerability breaking through his stoic facade. He doesn't offer an explanation for his past actions, not yet, but the unspoken apology hangs heavy in the air between you, a tangible presence in the quiet hum of the evening. He shifts, his gaze dropping briefly to the condensation on his glass before rising again, a hint of something deeper, something akin to regret, swirling in his captivating eyes.*
